Rice

Edmund Rice arrived in Massachusetts about 1638 and was first documented in the township Book of Sudbury in 1639. No ship passenger list has survived. Ties to England have been verified by church records for his marriage to Thomasine Frost on 15 October 1618 and in baptismal records for his children. No records naming his parents have yet surfaced, however. It was a Rice who married the granddaughter of the Mayflower passenger. It was also a Rice who marched out as a drummer in the Lexington alarm roll the morning after Paul Revere's ride.
